MOLD-RELATED RESTORATION • DFW & NORTH TEXAS
MOLD IS A PROBLEM.
MOISTURE IS THE CLUE.
Mold often points to a larger moisture problem. Rusk Restoration helps property owners address the restoration side of the loss and coordinates with appropriately licensed Texas mold professionals when regulated assessment or remediation is required.
LOOK BEYOND THE SURFACE
FIND THE MOISTURE.
ADDRESS THE DAMAGE.
Mold and moisture often go together. A plumbing leak, roof intrusion, appliance failure, storm event, condensation issue, or previous water loss can create conditions where mold develops.
Simply addressing what is visible may not address the underlying restoration problem.
Rusk Restoration approaches mold-related projects by looking at the property damage as a whole: the moisture source, affected building materials, drying needs, restoration work, and whether licensed mold professionals are required.
MOLD-RELATED RESTORATION
THE RIGHT PROBLEM.
THE RIGHT PROFESSIONAL.
Texas regulates certain mold assessment and remediation activities. When regulated mold services are required, those services must be handled by appropriately licensed professionals.
Moisture Investigation
We evaluate the restoration conditions surrounding the reported water or moisture problem and identify areas that may require additional attention.
Water Mitigation
When an active or recent qualifying water loss is involved, appropriate water mitigation and structural drying services can be performed.
Licensed Coordination
When Texas law requires licensed mold assessment or remediation, Rusk coordinates with appropriately licensed independent professionals for that portion of the project.
Documentation
Conditions related to Rusk's restoration work can be documented through photographs, moisture information, project records, scopes, and estimates.
Material Restoration
After required mold-related work is appropriately completed, affected areas may require repair or replacement of building materials.
Reconstruction
Rusk can help coordinate the restoration and reconstruction needed to move the affected area toward completion.

LICENSING
MATTERS.
Texas regulates mold assessment and mold remediation activities. Depending on the circumstances and scope of a project, appropriately licensed mold professionals may be required.
Rusk Restoration does not represent itself as a Texas-licensed mold assessment or mold remediation company.
When regulated mold assessment or remediation is required, that portion of the project is referred to or coordinated with appropriately licensed independent professionals.
Rusk can then remain involved with the appropriate water-damage, restoration, documentation, and reconstruction portions of the project.

INSURANCE & MOLD
DOCUMENT THE LOSS.
LET THE POLICY SPEAK.
Whether mold-related damage is covered by insurance depends on the policy, cause of loss, circumstances, exclusions, and the insurance carrier's coverage determination.
Rusk Restoration does not determine whether your insurance policy covers mold or related property damage.
Our role is to document the restoration work and conditions within our scope and provide appropriate project records.
