THE FIRE MAY BE OUT

THE DAMAGE
CAN KEEP GOING.

A structure fire can create several different types of property damage at the same time.

Flames can damage structural and finish materials. Smoke and soot can travel beyond the immediate fire area. Water used during firefighting efforts can affect flooring, walls, insulation, cabinetry, and other materials.

Restoration begins by understanding the full extent of the loss, documenting affected areas, and determining what can be cleaned, what can be restored, and what may need to be removed or replaced.

FIRE & SMOKE RESTORATION

MORE THAN
WHAT BURNED.

Fire losses can involve multiple types of damage throughout the same property. Our restoration response is based on the conditions we find.

01

Fire Damage Assessment

Affected areas and materials are evaluated to help establish the scope of restoration work needed.

02

Smoke & Soot Cleanup

Smoke residue and soot can travel well beyond the immediate fire area and may require specialized cleaning of affected surfaces.

03

Odor Treatment

Smoke-related odors may remain after visible residue is removed. Appropriate treatment may be used based on the materials and conditions involved.

04

Water Mitigation

Water used to extinguish a fire can create a secondary restoration need requiring extraction, moisture evaluation, and structural drying.

05

Damaged Material Removal

Materials that cannot be appropriately cleaned or restored may require controlled removal as part of the restoration process.

06

Restoration Coordination

Once cleanup and mitigation are complete, repairs and reconstruction can be coordinated to move the property toward completion.

ONE EVENT. MULTIPLE PROBLEMS.

FIRE DAMAGE
DOESN'T STAY IN ONE ROOM.

Even when a fire is contained to one area, its effects can extend throughout a structure.

Direct Fire Damage Materials physically damaged by heat or flames.
Smoke Damage Smoke can travel into rooms and areas away from the fire.
Soot Residue Fine residue can settle on walls, ceilings, contents, and surfaces.
Odor Smoke odors can remain within porous materials and affected spaces.
Water Damage Fire suppression efforts can introduce significant water into a structure.
Damaged Materials Drywall, insulation, flooring, cabinetry, and finishes may require restoration or replacement.

FIRE DAMAGE & INSURANCE

DOCUMENT
FROM THE BEGINNING.

Fire losses can involve extensive restoration work and multiple categories of damage, making organized documentation especially important.

SAFETY COMES FIRST

DON'T RUSH
BACK INSIDE.

After a fire, follow instructions from the fire department and other appropriate authorities regarding when it is safe to enter the property.

Damaged structures can contain electrical hazards, unstable materials, contaminated debris, standing water, smoke residue, and other conditions that may not be obvious from outside.

If the property has not been cleared for entry, stay out and wait for the appropriate authority to tell you it is safe.

WHEN IT'S SAFE TO MOVE FORWARD

YOU DON'T HAVE TO
FIGURE IT OUT ALONE.

After the immediate emergency is over, homeowners and property owners are often left wondering what they're supposed to do next.

You don't need to know the full scope of the damage before contacting us. Tell us what happened, what areas were affected, and what you've been told so far.

From there, we can help determine the appropriate next step on the restoration side.
